Katie Nielsen is an attorney and the founder of Katie Nielsen Law, P.L.L.C., based in Carthage, Texas. With experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney, she has handled matters involving criminal law, family law, civil litigation, probate, and estate planning.

Katie graduated magna cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University with

degrees in History and Political Science before earning her law degree from Baylor Law School, where she received the Abner V. McCall Evidence Award and graduated with a concentration in criminal law. Her background includes prosecuting cases across four Texas counties and representing clients in a wide range of legal matters throughout private practice.

Known for her disciplined approach to legal research, trial preparation, and client advocacy, Katie brings a comprehensive understanding of courtroom strategy and litigation to every case. Outside of her practice, she enjoys reading historical biographies, gardening, and pursuing lifelong learning.
